What it is

2048 Crank is "the classic sliding-number puzzle, made for Playdate." You slide tiles with the D-pad, matching numbers merge, and you aim for 2048 "and keep going."

The crank is an undo: turn it backwards to rewind time, one move per quarter turn, up to 100 moves (B does the same). Crank rewind can be switched off in the system menu. The tiles are clean 1-bit designs made to stay readable on the Playdate screen, your game saves automatically, and there's best-score tracking, a fanfare for milestones from 128 up, and a dark mode.

It was published on itch.io on 27 Oct 2026 for $1.99. The page says no generative AI was used.
