Campfire Marshmallows

What it is

Campfire Marshmallows is "a cozy little snack stand at the edge of the forest — and a crank." Foxes, penguins, a sleepy frog, a wizard and a few suspicious fire spirits wander out of the woods one by one, and each wants a marshmallow toasted exactly their way. You lower it toward the flames with the crank, watch it change, and serve it at just the right moment. The short tagline is "Toast marshmallows for forest guests by the campfire. Crank required."

The page gives some tips: just above the flame tips is the sweet spot, which is fast and safe; if it catches fire, press B and then lift it, and after a puff it can't re-ignite for a moment; from the third guest on, wind gusts throw the fire up (sparks warn you first); and five perfect serves in a row give a heart back.

It was published on itch.io on 22 Oct 2026 and is free. The page lists HTML5 as its platform and carries an in-browser embed, while the download is a 3.9 MB Playdate .pdx file.
