"Hold an arrow. Turn the crank. Land it clean." CRANKFLIP is "a one-bit skateboarding game made for the Playdate and its crank". You press UP to pop, hold a D-pad direction and turn the crank to flip the board, and press UP again before the wheels touch down. The D-pad picks the trick family and the crank turns it. Tricks include kickflips, heelflips, shove-its, spins, 11 grinds and "wound-up big tricks", all chained into lines before the combo runs out. The tour covers "one long Sunday" across five spots: Sunnyside Strip at 7 a.m., Granite Plaza at noon, Boxyard harbour, the Switchyard freight cars and the Roofline rooftops at night. Each spot has ten levels (an AM and a PRO set) with challenges, for 50 in total. There are also 25 high-score spots and a Daily spot "with one run for real".
For newcomers, the first level has a live coach that slows the street before each obstacle and shows what to press. There are eight lessons, plus an EASY mode where "the board lands itself". CLASSIC D-pad controls in Options let you play with the crank folded. It's by Matan Dessaur and sells for $9.99 CAD or more on itch.io as a sideload .pdx (8.4 MB). It was published on 12 Oct 2026 and is marked Released. The page's AI disclosure reads "AI Assisted: Code, Graphics". On 13 Oct 2026 it was #4 in itch.io's Playdate top sellers.
