Lexgrid is "a rule-discovery word game where players must find words in a 5x5 grid". Each puzzle gives you a clue, and usually a rune that changes it, but the game never says what the runes mean. You work it out across each group of puzzles. Simberg found runes standing for synonyms, antonyms, anagrams and adding or removing a letter, and later puzzles combine them. You trace each word letter by letter through the grid, and there's no time limit. The store pitches it at fans of "The Witness, Lingo, or 12 Word Searches". It uses the D-pad, buttons and crank, "although it does not require precision or dexterity".
It's by Henry Haak (Powerdive Games), and it came to the Catalog in September 2025 for $6 (also on itch.io). The download is just 219 KB. It was a finalist for Best Puzzle Game at the 2025 Playdate Community Awards.

Find the word in a 5×5 letter grid, but the clue comes with strange runes whose meaning you have to deduce. A word game for fans of The Witness and Lingo.
