PLUCK & PURR is a cozy management game for Playdate set in a little music shop on a rainy street. Animal customers come in with requests (an instrument, a tuning, a finish, a pick, a strap, a gift bow), and you take an instrument off the wall, paint it, tune every string, pack it and ring it up.
The crank does most of the work. You crank along the wall to browse the instruments (they ring as you pass), spray and sand the finish, and turn each peg to tune: every note is a live plucked-string synth, and tunings include open G, DADGAD, drop D, fifths, and tuning by ear with a tuning fork. Tighten too far and the string snaps, and the cost comes out of your pay. The game runs over ten days, each with a goal, ending with "one big night" on Sunday. It was published on itch.io on 4 Nov 2026 for $3 (version 0.10).
