SWING SHIFT is a physics demolition game for Playdate. It opens with a phone call from Dot at the office: there's a building that needs to come down. You drive the crane's trolley and crank the cable, and the wrecking ball hangs on a real pendulum, so "a well-timed swing lands far harder than a lazy one."
Every brick carries weight down to the street, so knocking out the right support brings the floors above down on their own; the pieces tumble, smash whatever they hit, then crumble away. The goal on each job is to beat the clock, spare the neighbours and earn hard hats, across 22 jobs. It was published on itch.io on 1 Nov 2026 for $4, at version 0.7. It comes from MatthewO_0, who also released Hushwater and SPOTLESS in the past week.
Who made it
MatthewO_0, solo developer, per the itch.io page (also the maker of Hushwater and SPOTLESS).
