What it is
"After a large-scale asteroid mining expedition gone wrong, the Earth is under a barrage of meteors, and is very scared." You are the Moon, orbiting with the crank and using your gravitational pull to bend meteors safely past the Earth, or into each other for extra points and health. It's an arcade game with "satisfying 50fps planetary physics". There's a Mission/Story mode of 15 missions across five types, including Divert, Survive, Colonize and Juggling, plus other modes and online scoreboards. Simberg mentions boss fights too. It mainly uses the crank, which needs "a fair amount of precision", with the occasional button press. The whole game is 297 KB.
It's by Paige Ruten, and Simberg says it started as a PlayJam 7 entry. It came to the Catalog in November 2025 for $4 (also on itch.io), and the source code is public. It's a Panic Staff Pick: "Truly a challenge that will have you positively over the moon."
