"Hold an arrow. Turn the crank. Land it clean." That's the pitch for CRANKFLIP, a one-bit skateboarding game that Matan Dessaur released on itch.io on 12 October. You press UP to pop, hold a direction and turn the crank to flip the board, then press UP again before the wheels touch down. Grinds, spins and "wound-up big tricks" chain into lines before the combo runs out.

The tour takes place over "one long Sunday": five spots from Sunnyside Strip at 7 a.m. to the Roofline rooftops at midnight, each with ten levels split into AM and PRO sets. There are also 25 high-score spots and a Daily run where you get "one run for real". Newcomers get a live coach on the first level and eight lessons. An EASY mode lets the board land itself, and a CLASSIC D-pad option means you can play with the crank folded.

CRANKFLIP costs $9.99 CAD (or more, if you want to pay extra) and is a sideload download (8.4 MB). The page's AI disclosure says it was AI-assisted in code and graphics. When we checked on 13 October it was #4 in itch.io's Playdate top sellers. Our game page: games/crankflip.
