Season Three week 2: houm and Bonkhope
Thursday's drop brings a MacVenture-style mansion mystery and a turn-based dungeon roguelike to Season Three owners.

Season Three's second pair of games arrived on Thursday 15 October (midnight PT), confirmed on Panic's Season Three page. Week 1 was Soggy Froggy and Gloom Gate; weeks 3 and 4 still have Sound Mind, HELLEVATOR, Chance's Lucky Escape 2 and Cross Words ahead. Season Three is $39 in Catalog and runs through 29 October.
houm (BuuuuBunnyGames) is a point-and-click adventure in the spirit of the classic MacVenture games. You stand outside a decrepit mansion in the rain: the owner is missing, the fortune is up for grabs, and other treasure hunters have already been thwarted by the house's puzzles. The page lists Mike Fly (coding), Tabi Fly (art) and Dan Butler (music/SFX). Controls use the D-pad and A/B for exploring, with the crank for story text. Panic flags a sensitive-content warning. It's a 45.9 MB download; the store page was first published 9 September and last updated 15 October.
Bonkhope (indiana-jonas, of Long Puppy) is a turn-based roguelike: a befuddled knight wakes in a coffin and fights room after room of monsters. Features listed on the page include four classes, skill upgrades, a goblin shop, three bosses across three worlds, and an "ever-changing dungeon". It uses the d-pad, A, B and the crank (crank optional), and Panic notes non-bloody cartoon violence. First published 15 October; 51.5 MB. Both games' developers say they were made without generative AI.
